I've always been a big fan of movies my whole life and I love getting to have the chance to go see a movie when it's showing in theaters. This summer I've actually been lucky enough to see a lot of movies in theaters this year. All of the films that I've seen have not disappointed me and haven't regretted spending money to view them; however, one movie stuck out more than the rest. The movie that I'm referring to is 'The Worlds End'.
I've always been a fan of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's films and I was very excited to hear that they're going to be staring in another one. Their previous films such as Hot Fuzz and Shawn of the Dead have been one of my favorite movies of all time. The Worlds End was definitely added to this list. The movie follows five guys as they embark on an old childhood en-devour in order to relive their glory days and have a last hoorah. The goal is to go on a pub crawl throughout their hometown consisting of twelve pubs in total, finishing with the pub appropriately called "The Worlds End".
Along the way, with laughs and jokes that always feel original and not recycled like a lot of movies tend to do today, you find yourself on the edge of your seat out of sheer entertainment. I would have to highly recommend this movie to everyone. The plot and overall theme to the movie is very original and a breath of fresh air and they even add twists that make it all the more fun to watch, making this movie a must see!
